Respiratory system consist of many organs such as (lungs, trachea and bronchi, etc.) Now a days we face some diseases of respiratory system but don't worry we have also some Herbals that maintain our respiratory system health.
⭕ QUESTION NO.1
Write three different herbs for the support of respiratory health other than discussed in this lecture. Include their benefits and reasons why they help in respiratory health
Let we start with Eucalyptus
1. Eucalyptus. (Eucalyptus sp.)
Eucalyptus a very useful tree that are useful for respiratory diseases like counter cough, congestion and are also help for reduce inflammation, loosening muscles and easing congestion. It's leaves is used for extracting oil which is used for medicines to treat congestion, cold cough, fever and other respiratory disorders.
2. Horehound (Marrubium vulgare)
It is mint. But it's leaves are very useful for cough syrup and for removal mucus from lungs. Some people make syrup from it's leaves with honey. It would be useful for allergies, sinus infections, and chest congestion.
3. Osha roots (Ligusticum porteri)
This plant is traditional use for medicine. This herb contain special components that boost your lungs and respiratory system. it is very useful for sore throat, bronchitis, cough, common cold, influenza, swine flu, and pneumonia.

Write about three herbs which help in the iron deficiency. Make a herbal remedy which can boost the iron level in the body. Please explain how it works in the body?
Iron Deficiency,
1.Betroot
This plant is traditional use for medicine. This herb contain special components that boost your lungs and respiratory system. it is very useful for sore throat, bronchitis, cough, common cold, influenza, swine flu, and pneumonia.
2. Fenugreek
(Trigonella foenum-graecum)
Fungreek is very useful for iron deficiency. It's leaves and seeds are very useful for blood formation. Fungreek seeds contain a very large amount of iron, fiber and minerals.

3. Nettle
( Urtica dioica )
Nettles are much higher in iron. nettle leaf is very useful for iron deficiency. it is very useful for pregnant women. Nettle can prop with prostration caused by iron insufficiency due to a heavy menstrual cycle and gestation.
◾Leaves of nettle.
Take some fresh nettle leaves and boil them in water to make a tea or herbal drink. Drinking this tea can help increase iron levels in your body. It’s a natural way to boost your blood health and fight iron deficiency.
◾Powder of nettle.
dry nettle leaves and grind them into powder. Mix this powder with water or milk and drink it every day. it is very useful for iron deficiency.
◾Juice of nettle.
Extract juice from fresh nettle leaves. Drinking this juice regularly is a great way to get a high dose of iron and also have other nutrients in it that helps in to treat iron deficiency.
Herbal medicine recipe to increase iron levels
Ingredients
One small beetroot (or 1/2 cup powder).
One tablespoon of fenugreek seeds.
One tablespoon nettle leaves (dried or fresh).
Two cups water
Honey or lemon for taste.
Method:
① Cut the beetroot into small pieces and add it to the water.
②Add the fenugreek seeds and nettle leaves.
③Boil the water and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
④Strain the tea and drink it, adding honey or lemon for taste.
Usage:
Drink once a day for 2-3 weeks.
Ways of working
Beetroot: Its juice boost iron level because it contains 0.8 iron and many other essential nutrients.
Fenugreek: Increases iron in the blood and aids in better absorption of nutrients.
Nettle:
This remedy is used for increasing iron levels, improving blood health, and making it easier for the body to absorb iron.

Write three herbs for the control of the high blood pressure and three to control the low blood pressure. Explain how the patients can use them in daily life to maintain and regulate their blood pressure. Make your preferred remedy for the control of blood pressure
High blood pressure.
Blood pressure is measured in millimeters of mercury .High blood pressure reading of 130/80 mmHg or higher. Now we will control it with some herbs.
1. Carom seeds
( Trachyspermum ammi )
Carom seed is commonly found in Pakistani households and markets. It has thymol, which help to relax the blood vessels, make better blood circulation, and lower blood pressure.
Carom seeds help for lower blood pressure. Carom seed contain thymol which is a calcium chain blocker and very useful for high blood pressure. we should drink carom seed water every morning in empty stomach. Mix ½ teaspoon of carom seeds powder with a black salt and drink it. Am also use carom seed tea which helps to regulate blood pressure.
2. Coriander
(Coriandrum sativum)
Coriander is a very common in Pakistani kitchens. Also reduced sodium level. Coriander also contain vitamin C. It works like a water pill. If we eat coriander daily it keeps our blood pressure in control and promote our blood health.
◾Coriander Seed Water:
Dip 1-2 tea spoons of coriander in a cup of water for full night.
◾Coriander Tea:
Boil 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds in 1 cup of water for 5–7 minutes.
Filter and drink hot once or two time a day.
◾Coriander Juice:
Blend fresh coriander leaves with a little water to make juice.
Shake the 2 teaspoons of the juice with 1 cup of glass water and swill it.
3. Garlic
(Allium sativum)
Garlic is very useful for lower blood pressure. Take it orally it helps to reduce systolic blood pressure. We should eat Garlic 1-2 cloves
per day. Garlic contains Allicin which help to relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure. To create allicin in Garlic chop or mince garlic and keep it away from heat for 10 minutes. Crush 2 garlic cloves and add to 1 glass of warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes strain and drink once daily. Adding fresh garlic after cooking retains its active compounds. Garlic supports overall heart health. Regular use can help naturally manage high blood pressure.
Low blood Pressure
1. Raisins
(Vitis vinifera )
Raisins are very useful for low blood pressure. Raisins are beneficial for low blood pressure (hypotension) due to their rich nutrients. these nutrients help to improve blood circulation and regulate blood pressure.
Soaked raisins: Soak 10-15 raisins (munakka) in a glass of water overnight. At the early morning take it when you are empty stomach. This method is believed to help regulate blood pressure and boost energy levels.
2.Ashwagandha
(Withania somnifera)
It is a traditional herb for low blood pressure. Ashwagandha might lower blood pressure. If you have to take it with other supplements which have the same effect might cause blood pressure to drop too much. Ashwagandha is a powerful herb that can help manage low blood pressure. Take 1/2 teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder with warm water or milk in the morning or before bedtime. If you want best results you have to take it empty stomach. Ashwagandha tea by boiling 1/2 teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder in warm water for 8-10 minutes. Drink this tea 1-2 times a day.
3. Ginseng
(Panax quinquefolius)
It is used for treat low blood pressure. For people with low blood pressure, Ginseng works by stimulating the cardiovascular system, enhancing blood circulation, and increasing energy levels, which can help bring blood pressure back to normal. One of the most common ways to consume Ginseng is in the form of Ginseng tea. Simply steep 1-2 teaspoons of dried Ginseng root in hot water for 5-10 minutes. Take it one or two time a day. You can mix Ginseng powder into a smoothie or simply add it to warm water. A typical dose is about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per day.
Herbal Remedy for Regulating Blood Pressure
🔸Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon Ashwagandha powder
1 teaspoon dried Hibiscus petals (or 1 hibiscus tea bag)
1-2 crushed Garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1 teaspoon Honey (optional)
◾Method
➡️Boil 1 cup of water, then add hibiscus petals (or tea bag) and steep for 5-10 minutes.
➡️Mix Ashwagandha powder with warm water or milk.
➡️Add crushed garlic, cinnamon, and lemon juice to the tea or Ashwagandha mix.
➡️Sweeten with honey if desired.
➡️Drink 1-2 cups daily, preferably in the morning or before bed.
