Before Steemfest (4): Top 5 vegetarian restaurants in Kraków
My Steemfest3 travelers, here is @the-veggie-sloth. Are you hungry after your trip to Krakow? Great, because there are really many venues serving delicious food in this city. Obviously, there are quite a lot of places with terrible dishes, so I've prepared a list of the TOP 5 Vegetarian and Vegan bars and restaurants in Krakow.
It is not my subjective list. Who cares about my culinary taste, especially that I am not a great specialist. I asked a Polish vegetarian group on Facebook for help. A large community, more than 40 000 people. My question "Which restaurants and bars do you recommend to visitors to Krakow" was answered by over 100 people. Here are their recommendations!
The order of the list is alphabetical. Check out these restaurants and let me know what you think about them in the comments!
1. Bhajan Cafe
ul. Stradomska 17, 10 AM - 10 PM, http://bhajancafe.pl
You will find mainly Indian cuisine in this place recommended by many vegetarians. Also, for breakfast, you can have scrambled eggs without eggs (fried tofu) or baguettes with hummus. There are also soups, curry dishes, and delicious tea and coffee. The choice is really huge! Most recommended!

2. Krowarzywa
ul. Sławkowska 8, 11 AM - 11 PM, https://krowarzywa.pl/en/
Vegan bars network Krowarzywa is slowly becoming a cult place. They have opened their lovely bars in the largest cities in Poland. In these bars, you can have delicious burgers with chickpea cutlets, various groats or seitan. You can drink good lemonade or ginger tea. Sometimes, however, it's quite a crowded place, and it can be difficult to find a free spot to sit down and eat, but you can always take your food away.

3. Mihiderka
ul. Józefa 22, 12 AM - 8 PM, https://www.facebook.com/MihiderkaKrakow
In Mihiderka you can have delicious vegetable dinner sets. They have Vietnamese pho and marinated jackfruit. Sounds wonderful, right? For dessert, you can have some tofu cheesecake and fresh juice. They have ginger beer too!

4. Pod Norenami
ul. Krupnicza 6, 12 AM - 10 PM, http://www.podnorenami.pl
If you feel like having some vegetarian Asian cuisine, make sure to visit Pod Norenami. It's a place where vegetables take on completely new flavours. The restaurant menu includes vegan sushi, ramen soups, rice salads. Of course, they also have Thai curries and momo dumplings from Nepal. Asia in the middle of Krakow!

5. Vegab
ul. Starowiślna 6 , 11 AM - 8 PM and Plac Nowy 5/8, 3 PM- 9 PM, https://www.vegab.pl
Vegab creates.... vegabs. What is it? You have to see for yourself. This is one of the most recommended by TripAdvisor places in Krakow. Filled with fresh vegetables Vegab will be a discovery for you. I especially recommend Beirut with pickled cucumbers! To recharge your vital energy, you can also get superfood smoothies there - just in time for the night time fun at Steemfest3.

And of course, take the time to try Ruskie Pierogi in Krakow! It's a national Polish dish and it is vegetarian. It tastes best with sour cream!
I am curious how many vegetarians will come to SF. 😉 Now I would eat 'ruskie pierogi' and drink ginger beer!
I do eat meat but this looks delicious, going to try them all this week!
A great job @the-veggie-sloth !
I also recommend those restaurants, especially "Krowarzywa" and "Pod norenami" :)
Awesome, I was in Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia for summer and I was amazed at the variety of vegan food. Poland is really good place for a vegan to go for holidays.
