"SEC-S29W3:My Progressive Action; Push up.

Haaaa… 40 push-ups nearly made me faint.
My hands were shaking, and after number 35, raising my body became very difficult.

Last week, I had no issues doing 20–30 push-ups. Everything went smoothly, although I felt muscle pain in my arms. But this week? I won’t lie — I really felt it.
30 reps were easy, 35 started getting harder, and at 40 reps, I couldn’t complete them in one straight row.

But my friend, the most important thing is this:
Even though I was tired and my arms felt like they wanted to explode, I still completed 40 push-ups.

Now let me share my daily exercises, how I did them, my vital body responses, and how I felt before and after each session.
(Videos available)

Day 1

Most of my exercises are done at my workplace after I finish arranging goods.
My first exercise for the week was on Thursday, after I received an invitation from @emishael60.
Please pardon the video quality — the camera wasn’t very good.

Exercise: Push-ups
Reps: 30

Before Exercise:

  • Breathing: 30
  • Heartbeat: 72

After Exercise:

  • Breathing: 48
  • Heartbeat: 80

Video below

Feelings:
The first day wasn’t tough since it was just 30 reps. I felt stretching in my arms and chest. Compared to the next days, this was easy. My heartbeat increased slightly, and I felt energized.

Day 2

On Friday, I planned to exercise in the afternoon, but my phone was off and there was no light to charge it. I had to borrow my friend’s phone to record the video.
Omo… iPhone video dey loud 😅
Everyone was looking at me while I positioned the phone — content creation no be beans.

Exercise: Push-ups
Reps: 35

Before Exercise:

  • Heartbeat: 76
  • Breathing: 32

After Exercise:

  • Heartbeat: 88
  • Breathing: 52

Video below*

Feelings:
Remember when I said 30 reps were easy? I take that back 😂
I thought, “Yesterday I did 30 confidently, so today I’ll add 5 more.”
Immediately I reached 30, the extra 5 became a serious roadblock.

My arms were shaking like two heavy irons were tied to them. I was breathing heavily, sweating, and my heartbeat was loud like a drum — tim tim tim.

From Day 2, I already knew Day 3 would be the toughest.

My guy even said my arms and chest were improving — I love compliments 😌
I returned the iPhone to its owner, and he later sent me my video.

Day 3

On Day 3, my body was already reacting, but since I had started, I had to finish strong.
Throughout the day, I kept asking myself, “Will I be able to complete this?”
I even bought milk because I believed I needed extra energy.

Exercise: Push-ups
Reps: 40

Before Exercise:

  • Breathing: 28
  • Heartbeat: 68

After Exercise:

  • Heartbeat: 104
  • Breathing: 48

Video below

Feelings:
You people didn’t tell me it would be like this 😭
I was shaking heavily — more than the previous day. Reps 37, 38, 39, and 40 did me dirty.

If not that I was recording, I swear I would have laid on the floor for 30 seconds before finishing.
Surprisingly, I wasn’t sweating much, but my breathing was very fast, and my heartbeat doubled.
From experience, I’m honestly scared of next week.

Overall Feelings

I feel stronger, especially seeing my muscles come out.
This contest also helped me understand how to monitor my vital body reactions before and after exercise.

Big shout-out to all fitness trainers — it’s not easy at all.
Without discipline, this cannot work.

Thank you to everyone supporting this post. You are one in a million reasons why I don’t give up when things get tough.
You don’t need to start with my numbers — begin with what you can do and increase gradually.

To my surprise, I completed 180 push-ups in two weeks.
You can do even better 💪

I’d like to invite @saintkelvin17 @missyleo @entity01 @kwinberry to join this contest.
