 It's very important that we choose carefully and deliberately who we walk with. Often, the friends we make are just coincidental, but it's quite mandatory to review your friendship with people you walk with. Why make friends with someone whose priorities is different from yours? Why make friends with someone whose priority is just to graduate while you want more from your results or a friend whose priority is parties and ladies?

  There is a popular adage in my indigenous language that "a sheep that walks with a dog will eventually eat faeces". Walking with someone whose life philosophy is different from yours is not healthy for your dreams, you'll end up been incorporated into the person's lifestyle and that's why academically speaking, less intelligent students are encouraged to make friends with more intelligent students. After all, iron sharpeneth iron.

Read the stories of people like Barack Obama to Harry Potter, you'll see that one thing is constant; friends always play a big role in their success. Imagine what would have happened if Harry Potter had chosen Draco Malfoy as a friend instead of Ron Weasley. 

 We all need friends at a time; maybe to give us a word of support or encouragement or to help us in financial distress or to just hold our hands when we're weary.

Therefore, deliberately choose your friends. They influence you in more ways than you can imagine.
