How steemit keeps steemit servers up without ads (i dont know if they have ads but i dont see them ) so basicly what i am asking is how steemit makes money+gives money to users ?

Initial investment. Essentially they (and their investors) and putting in money, hoping in the future the platform would grow and become profitable in some way.
