Thumbnail: A complete overview of how @ahsansharif successfully used the SteemHome challenge system from challenge creation to evaluation

During the last few weeks, many users started discovering the challenge system on SteemHome, but one user especially caught my attention because he used the platform exactly the way it was designed to be used from the beginning until the evaluation phase, and that user is @ahsansharif.

Through this article, I want not only to thank him for testing the platform seriously and using the challenge system correctly, but also to show other Steemians a real example of how a complete challenge workflow can be managed smoothly using SteemHome.

The challenge is still running, which means the final report has not yet been generated automatically, but the current workflow already demonstrates perfectly how organizers can:

  • create a challenge,
  • invite participation,
  • collect entries,
  • evaluate participants,
  • and later generate the final report directly from the dashboard.

Step 1 : Creating the Challenge Properly

The first thing that impressed me was how cleanly the challenge was configured because the challenge included:

  • a proper title,
  • a detailed description,
  • clear participation rules,
  • rewards,
  • hashtags,
  • and evaluation criteria.

This is extremely important because a well-structured challenge makes participation easier and improves the overall quality of submissions.

@ahsansharif created a complete and properly structured challenge with clear information, tags, rewards, and participation settings

The challenge topic itself was very practical and useful because it focused on real-life electricity saving solutions, which encouraged participants to share practical experiences instead of generic content.

Another important thing is that the challenge was connected correctly to the evaluation system, which later allowed participant entries to be tracked directly from the dashboard.

Step 2 : The Challenge Became Visible to Participants

After the challenge was published, it immediately became visible inside the SteemHome challenge dashboard where participants could discover it easily and submit their entries.

This step is important because visibility is one of the main goals of the challenge system. Instead of manually searching through hashtags across the blockchain, users can discover challenges directly from a centralized interface.

The challenge became publicly visible inside the SteemHome dashboard where participants could easily discover and join it

What I really appreciated here is that the dashboard automatically organized submissions while keeping challenge entries grouped together visually, which makes the entire process cleaner for both organizers and participants.

The interface also displays:

  • evaluation status,
  • scores,
  • engagement,
  • and participant activity.

This helps create a more interactive and transparent environment for challenge management.

Step 3 : Managing the Challenge and Participation Workflow

Another thing that demonstrated the proper use of the system was how the challenge page itself was used to centralize participation and simplify entry management.

The challenge page contains:

  • challenge information,
  • participation instructions,
  • challenge duration,
  • evaluator settings,
  • and submission guidance.

Participants were able to join the challenge directly using the participation button and submit their posts with the correct challenge tag, which allowed SteemHome to automatically organize entries under the challenge.

This is exactly one of the biggest goals of the SteemHome challenge system:
to reduce manual organization work and create a smoother workflow for organizers.

Step 4 : Participants Started Submitting Entries

Once the challenge became active, community members started participating and publishing their own real-life solutions related to electricity saving.

2.PNG
A participant successfully submitted an entry to the challenge using the SteemHome challenge workflow

This phase is extremely important because it shows that the challenge system is not only theoretical, but actually capable of creating real interaction between organizers and community members.

The challenge encouraged:

  • creativity,
  • practical solutions,
  • engagement,
  • and real discussion around the topic.

This is exactly the type of community interaction that SteemHome aims to encourage through the challenge ecosystem.

Step 5 : Evaluating Entries Transparently

One of the strongest parts of this workflow was the evaluation phase because @ahsansharif used the evaluation system correctly and transparently using predefined criteria.

The evaluation included:

  • content quality,
  • originality,
  • engagement,
  • presentation,
  • image quality,
  • and challenge requirements.

The evaluation system allows organizers to score entries transparently using structured evaluation criteria

What makes this system useful is that evaluations become:

  • visible,
  • organized,
  • transparent,
  • and easier to track.

Instead of manually writing scattered evaluation comments everywhere, the dashboard centralizes scores and evaluation details properly.

This is one of the most important improvements SteemHome brings to challenge management.

Step 6 : Waiting for the Final Report Generation

The challenge is still running for several more days, which means the final report has not yet been generated automatically, but this is actually one of the most interesting parts of the system.

Once the challenge duration ends, the system will be able to:

  • collect evaluated entries,
  • organize participant data,
  • calculate statistics,
  • and help generate the final challenge report directly from the dashboard.

This significantly reduces the amount of repetitive manual work usually required from challenge organizers.

Why This Is a Great Example for Other Users

I wanted to write this article because many users still do not fully understand the real potential of the SteemHome challenge system, and @ahsansharif provided one of the clearest practical examples of how the workflow should function from beginning to end.

He successfully demonstrated:

  • challenge creation,
  • participant organization,
  • dashboard visibility,
  • evaluation management,
  • and structured participation handling.

This is exactly the type of workflow I originally imagined while building this feature.

Encouraging Other Steemians to Try It

I would really encourage other Steemians to try creating their own challenges using SteemHome because the system was specifically designed to simplify:

  • challenge organization,
  • participant tracking,
  • evaluations,
  • entry collection,
  • and final reporting.

Even though the platform is still evolving and many new features are still being developed, seeing users already using the workflow correctly is extremely motivating.

The more users experiment with the challenge system, the more advanced and useful the ecosystem will become for the entire community.

Final Words

A huge thank you once again to @ahsansharif for testing the challenge system seriously and for demonstrating such a complete and organized workflow from challenge creation to evaluation.

Your challenge became a real example of how SteemHome challenges can be used effectively, and I hope many other users will follow the same path and start building their own organized community challenges through the platform.

The challenge is still running, and now we are waiting for the final stage:
the automatic generation of the final report directly from the dashboard.

I am also slowly trying to use your steemhome and trying to see how I can give my full time here by using it and I like the way everyone is using it to create their challenges and everything is working and I like the way @ahsansharif brother has done this work here. I will also try to run my contests from here and try to enjoy everything very well by using everything here and I will also try to share here how it will be easier to bring something new here.

Thank you so much for your support and encouragement.

I’m really happy to hear that you are exploring SteemHome and taking the time to discover its different features step by step.

One of my main goals with this platform is to make challenge and contest management much easier for everyone, and it’s great to see users like @ahsansharif already using the system successfully from challenge creation all the way to evaluation.

I would definitely encourage you to try running your own contests through SteemHome. The more people use it and share their experiences, ideas, and feedback, the more we can improve the platform together.

I look forward to seeing your future contests and hearing your suggestions about how we can make SteemHome even better for the entire community.

Yeah sure. I will do it.

The platform you have provided us with in the name of steemhome.com is very outstanding. I have not seen such a platform till now on steemit. The most interesting thing is that when we organize a contest or challenge here, we are shown a list of all the people who participate in it. Then those who we evaluate are shown separately, and those who are pending are shown separately. So it is a great thing that it is easy for us to evaluate the posts that people have participated in. I really appreciate your effort to make steem stronger through this kind of development. May Allah bless you more and more.

Thank you so much for your kind words brother.

Reading feedback like this truly motivates me to continue improving SteemHome and building more useful tools for the Steem community.

I’m really happy that the challenge system is helping organizers manage participants, evaluations, pending entries, and reports in a much easier and more organized way. That was exactly one of the main goals behind developing this platform.

Your challenge became one of the best examples of how the system can be used properly from creation to evaluation, and I truly appreciate the time and effort you invested in testing everything seriously.

May Allah bless you too and thank you again for supporting the project and helping make Steem stronger.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
