Crushing STEEM Hop

STEEM Hop is a great way for STEEM newbies to build up a little steem. The game pays 253 STEEM to the top 20 players.

Midway through season 13, the leaderboard shows only 70 players; so there is a good chance for users who play to whole season to score a few STEEM.

The problem, of course, is that it takes a long time to play the game.

Players get 30 games every 12 hours. That is 60 games a day and it takes a long time to pay to play 60 games. A season is 10 days. That is 600 games which takes several hours.

Most of the 70 players in the game just showed up for a game or two. People who play the full season are likely to get at least one STEEM.

But that is not the reason for this post because, mid way through season 13, I briefly scored position one. As the picture indicates, I am on track to earning 70 STEEM.

I've played 300 games so far this season and earned 36,522 pts. The table below shows the distribution of my games. I had 117 games that failed with less than 50 points. Most of my points come from successful games with 100 plus points.

I suspect that my time in position one is limited as the player in position two has played only 140 games so far. so he is getting way more than my average score.

My Plan for My Winnings.

NOTE: I created this account @vagabondspirt for a game that did not catch on. My plan is to power up my winnings on my primary account @yintercept which has about 6500 STEEM.

I have @yintercept loaded on my firefox browser. I was getting more glitches on firefox; so I started playing on @vagabondspirit which is loaded on my chrome browser.

It is fun thinking that I might win the season. There are several players who are better at the game than me. they just haven't invested the time.
