I discovered something important playing SteemHop today!

I found out that, if one resizes the SteemHop game screen, one will see a larger playing field and a game clock will magically appear. See screen shot at end of this post.

I had assumed that the game was optimized for display on a standard browser; so I never thought about resizing the screen.

I had been using the stopwatch on my cellphone to time games. I prefer the in game clock because I don't like wasting my cellphone battery life on a game.

I am using Chrome on a Linux box. What I do when I play the game is press [F11] to expand the screen into full screen mode. I press [ctrl][+] to multiple times to zoom out.

When I end a session I press [ctrol][0] to resize the screen and [F11] to return to a standard screen.

I like to logout and close the browser to assure that I clear the browser's buffer.

Game Play

The in-game-clock starts on the death of the chicken. The two minutes includes the time needed to load the next game. I mistakenly thought the game clock started with the birth of a new chicken. I guess this is why the system failed to record the games that I played to 1:59 minutes in games measured with my smartphone.

I don't like starting the game with the death of a chicken as I like stretching my hands between games.

I played a number of games in a row and started feeling the pains of carpal tunnel syndrome.

I realized I had a choice. Would I suffer carpal tunnel to earn 15 STEEM?

Well, that's an easy one. If suffering carpal tunnel would result in 15 STEEM, I would accept the carpal tunnel! I mean 15 STEEM is a lot of STEEM.

Here are my Points for the Season

Max Score is 226
Spins 4 for 610
Logins 4 for 40
Daily Tasks 27 for 1,525
Total Games 240
Total Points 19,895
Average Score 82

RangeGamesPoints
0-49982,053
50-99483,455
100-149435,253
150-199437,458
200-24981,676

My biggest problem is getting the game going. I could improve my score by 9,800; if I moved those 98 failed games into the 150+ row!

I like to play until the countdown clock reaches 1:50. I then frantically hop forward into the loving talons of an eagle. That said, I had a number of games in the 150 to 200 point range that were not recorded.

Conclusion

I generated the picture of a chicken in the talons of an eagle on Night Cafe.

The in-game-clock on the expanded screen improves the game with the two minute rule. I still believe that the best way to make the game equitable is limit the number of games based on one's average score as I mentioned in my last post.

See the clock in the upper right corner! This changes the game. It is easy to time a game when there is a game timer!!!
