<div class="text-justify>I had my eyes set on this product the moment I saw it. And the reasons are not farfetched.

• L' Oreal UV Sense is a very portable UV sensor that works side by side with an app to monitor UV rays in relation to a particular individual.

• It does not require a battery to function. This is the first of its kind. Even without a battery, people can still know how long they have been in the sun.

• So how is L'Oreal UV Sense powered? Well, it is powered by a mobile phone and activated by UVB and UVA rays.

• The UV Sense is very fashionable. Built with the user in mind, the sensor takes the shape of a blue dot that can be worn on the fingernails. It can also be attached to other parts of the body or items that are easily accessible, talk of one's household appliances, sunglasses etc.

• Although the L'Oreal UV Sense can be used for a maximum time of two weeks, its life span can be increased with the addition of some adhesive. Altogether, the device can store data for up to three months.

• Rare enough, THE UV Sense does not connect to Bluetooth or WiFi. But data can be downloaded using NFC which enables you scan the sensor with your phone. Once the data is downloaded into the phone, one can get an update on one's exposure to the sun.

• Not only does the app connected to the sensor work with both IOS and Android phones, it also takes into cognizance one's skintone or skin peculiarities so as to better give a better estimation of how much sun the person should or should not absorb.

• Most importantly, the health implications of L'Oreal UV Sense is very massive. With the ability to easily monitor one's exposure to ultraviolet rays, one can easily make a decision about how much time to spend in the sun or if one should apply more sunscreen in situations where that is needed. Even more, because the app is customized to address peculiarities, people can make a skin care consultant out of it. Talking about skin care, based on one's peculiar skin exposure rate, suitable skin care products and guidelines are suggested to the customer via the app. Ultimately, when we come to think of it, the L'Oreal UV Sense will go a long way to prevent skin cancer.
