Hunter's comment

Today i present you a beautiful stirling engine locomotive. It is made out of materials like brass, stainless steel and aluminium. Because of that it is druable and robust. It can be used as a gift, decorative piece or a model which shows simple transformation of heat into movement. It also produces sound which is quite relaxing.

It shows the past

I am sorry that I had to delist your hunt because it doesn't adhere to the following SteemHunt posting guideline:

Types of Products to Post - PG # 2

Steemhunt generally covers unique IT or hardware products, including

  • Web services
  • Mobile apps
  • API, IT solutions, bots, open sources or other types of software
  • Tech gadgets, hardware, IoT/connected/wearable devices
  • Games
  • Innovative Engineering/Design Products (It may cover non-tech products that have been invented based on high-level engineering/design approach to solve a major problem)

SteemHunt Moderation Team

I am sorry @monajam but i just don't understand how you moderators work.. I mean for example if you look at my blog i posted 4 stirling engine hunts similar to this one. Obviously i didn't duplicate them because they are all different models of stirling engines (cars, coffe stirling, nano disc..). they were all approved by three different moderators without any problem. I don't want to be rude or anything i just want to know how can one moderator approve one post and the other delist it (but they are practically similar hunts). one moderator even posted the stirling engine by himself and hat tipped me because he approved my hunt and was so interesting in it he had to made it himself. His stirling engine also got approved. I'm just worried if those hunts which got approved and are similar to this one should get delisted too..

I delisted it because it is not the type of product that steemhunt wants, but you can, of course, appeal against this decision, and I will discuss with the community manager about it.

Then my first stirling engine hunt should be delisted when i posted it. Since it got approved and so were other stirling engines i posted, i assumed they were in fact products that steemhunt wants..
And i don’t want to appeal and cause more problems. I just want to see every moderator approving hunts equally. So it doesn’t come to this situations which are not needed.. And also it confuses me (or others) to the point where i don’t know what kind of hunts are good to post since couple of them pass the guidlines and then one similar to the approved ones doesn’t.
Sorry for inconvenience @monajam

2-1. Web services
2-2. Mobile apps
2-3. API, IT solutions, bots, open sources or other types of software
2-4. Tech gadgets, hardware, IoT/connected/wearable devices
2-5. Games
2-6. Innovative Engineering/Design Products (It may cover non-tech products that have been invented based on high-level engineering/design approach to solve a major problem)

These are the type of products to hunt. When reviewing a hunt, I make sure the product comes under one of these. But I don't know about other Mods. I just try to follow the guidelines.
If you think, your product comes under one of these, you can let me know here in the comments (if you don't want to appeal), and I will review again :)
Thanks for your understanding; you are a good hunter , and I often saw you brought awesome and cool products to SH :)

Well i thought it would be okay since it is not some wooden toy or something really out of steemhunt guidelines. it shows in fact how simple stirling engines work (A Stirling engine is a heat engine that operates by cyclic compression and expansion of air or other gas (the working fluid) at different temperatures, such that there is a net conversion of heat energy to mechanical work). Stirling engines were used and are still used today and i thought this might come under category 2-6. Innovative Engineering/Design Products. Guess im wrong. But since moderators approved it, i figured it is okay to post some different models of stirling engines aswell.
Yeah i am trying hard, so when stuff like this happen i try to get to the bottom of it so i won't make similar mistakes in the future :)

Go get them tiger! I am wondering about the same questions! :=)

A wonderful Stirling locomotive @k3vin. Very nice details on it, congrats on a great hunt!
