This app is both cool and sad at the same time. The fact that the Syrian war is still going on is terrible,(but i'll stick to the app)

You are right it is cool and sad at the same time, I am forced to use it to know in real time about the towns and villages contested between the above 5 forces in my country to can public more info, in my weekly raport "Syrian War Series" about the real situation after 7 years of war. Thanks for yet another hunt. Technically when applying all posting guidelines this hunt would be delisted because the app is more than a year old and also could be considered a ‘read only’ mobile app.
Yet, due to its low number of installations as well as the ongoing conflict, plus being a real time map rather than “Yet another news reader” I have approved it because IMHO the conflict is important enough for as many people as possible to know what actually happens (and where).

I think it solves a problem, thus I can see some utility of the app, this is the first of its kind i have seen but there should be proper care taken in cross checking of the data displayed , any loopholes could makes condition even worse and would create more FUD
