Pros:

• Pixelmator is an app i have, the price is really good compared to adobe suite
• really well-written app
• great for doing little updates or tinkering to existing files

Cons:

• has problems with some file formats that are locked adobe
• takes a bit of time to understand the way the tool bar works.
