I just looked at their transfer and they seem to be normal transfers that are not spammy messages asking users to do things. Some services require the use of memos to operate, and some services message their current users with memos.
It isn't inherently a bad practice. When it is used to spam the blockchain with useless data and phishing scams, its more than just a little annoying.
I just want to know the genuinity of the post, because i may have cause to do some transaction with those handles posted. I wont want to regret trusting anyone on those list

I am fairly sure the accounts in whitelist can be trusted.
The point of the whitelist on this post is that transfer to/from those accounts do not add to the data since I do not consider them spam or unknown.
