The Daily Food Shopping Game (17-10-2025)| (Week No. 88)
Welcome to my daily food shopping game for 17th October, 2025. Food is an important part of our livelihood and it is up to us to work, provide and eat healthy.
It was really amazing shopping food ingredients this day on my budget. I enjoyed shopping on weekends a lot because it gives me the leverage to plan for the upcoming week.
Friday started beautifully well, at noon after work I prepared to step out to the market. At first I was having a double thought since it was already noon and I never wanted to meet up with traffic but at the same time, I recalled that the next day will be hectic for me.
After a deep thought, I decided to write list and moved to the market.
I got there and shop each of the item on my list with ease. I purchased fresh pepper and onions first at the entrance of the market.
I moved straight inside the market and make payment for shell periwinkle. The seller started cutting the periwinkle while I went to goat meat spot.
I purchased ½kg of goat meat and continued with the shopping.
Payment was made for water leaf, local spice and palm fruit. I went back to get the shell periwinkle and also purchased stock fish from the same seller.
Moving out of the market, I stopped by another spot to purchase vegetable oil and maggi.
Purchasing vegetable oil and maggi
Last two items on my list were sweet potato and egg; I purchased the two before moving out of the gate.
