Good afternoon ,hope life's good we shall be taking a look at a special kind of tea it's benefits and how it's prepared let's take a close look at what oregano tea looks like .
Oregano is a small green herb that grows in warm places. It has tiny leaves and a strong smell and taste. People use it to add flavor to food. Oregano is often used in Italian, Greek, and Mexican cooking but recently in Nigerian many have discovered the health benefits of oregano and are in the top list of those actively using it for meals, I am one of such like ones.
Health Benefits of Oregano
Oregano is also good for our health. Below are some health benefits of it.
Fights bacteria
It can help with swelling and pain in the body.
These help protect your body from damage.
It may help your stomach feel better.
Oregano tea can help you feel better when you're sick.
How to Use Oregano
Oregano leaves can be used either fresh or dry they have an outstanding flavour
Fresh oregano leaf
Add fresh oregano leave to salads or cooked dishes.
Chop the leaves and sprinkle on top of pizza or pasta.
Dried Oregano leaf
Use a pinch of dried oregano in sauces, soups, or meat dishes.
It has a stronger flavor than fresh oregano.
How prepare oregano tea
Boil water.
Add 1–2 teaspoons of fresh or dried oregano leaves
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes.
Strain and drink the tea. You can add honey for taste.
