'Powering up our liquid STEEM is one of the most important things that help us recognize on the Steemit platform because, without powering up, we would not be able to go anywhere.

It is one of the motivating factors that help us stay active all the time and earn big rewards for all the effort we put through in powering up on a daily basis. For this contest, I would like to show you the step-by-step process of powering up my tokens within my Steemit wallet.

Firstly, I log in to my Steemit wallet where I enter my password in the space provided after I successfully log in to the wallet page. Then I click on the arrow where the dropdown menu appears, and I click on the 'Power Up' option.

Secondly, after I click on 'Power Up,' it takes me to another page where I see the amount of tokens I want to power up. I enter the number in the box, then click on the 'Power Up' button.

Thirdly, after I click on the button, another page opens for me to confirm the STEEM I want to power up. Then I click on the 'OK' button.

Within a second, I confirmed the token that I have added to my Steem Power, which is shown in the image above.

Important of steem power

• The newly issued token will be distributed to the holders, demonstrating that Steem Power is a long-term investment that enables holders to be visible and also increases their reputation.

• The more users we upvote, the more curation rewards we earn, which means that the higher our Steem Power, the larger our curation rewards. This encourages support for good posts.

• Steem Power is an instrument that doesn't allow the holders to suddenly sell off the token. The more Power Up we do, the more it enables us to increase our benefits in the future.
