Daily Menu Delicacies Week No.108. date (25-01-2026) // An excellent day meal
Greetings to all members of this prestigious community and to you who is taking time to read my post. You are welcome to my blog.
Today, I want to participate in one of the amazing contest called Daily menu delicacies. I consumed the below meals today being 25 /01/2026 and capture them so as to share the dairy game with my friend.
It is a lovely weekend and I wished to prepare a baked Beans cake locally known as (moi moi) for my family's breakfast and to also share with you all.
In Nigeria, we have different types of beans and we eat majority of this type although we have different ways of preparation to have a pleasant taste.
It may interest you to know that not all beans are proteinous and that not is not containing only that but also a good source of fibers. So you need it in your meal menu. Beans is edible seeds that is like kidney in shape found in the legume family. It is commonly cultivated and also found in my area.
My afternoon was blessed, I went to kitchen and prepare a special lunch for myself and my family members. The meal was simply but delicious and nutritious. Rice is one of the meals cherished in all occasions, in short it is meal king of occasion in my environment and we consume it on a regular basis.
In case you feel like preparing the same Local Rice, my ingredients where:.Rice, fish, , stock cube, Fresh tomatoes, Salt,oil, pepper, crayfish, onion, Ginger and Garlic.
Rice and plantains is carbohydrates, fish is protein, oil used is fat and other things contains vitamin and mineral. I see this meal as a complete meal in the right proportion.
In the evening,I prepare melon soup for our visitors.., it was so yummy and delicious. What you are seeing here is melon soup mixed with bitter leaf. Melon soup is one of the soup love and cherish by millions of family around the globe. I love cooking in large quantities and refrigerate it, for week days.
Melon soup is always nice, appetizing and delicious. Aside from the above, it has a lot of health benefits, the leaf contains vitamins, post immune system has anti-inflammatory properties, contains minerals like calcium which helps in bone formation, it's best immune system and regulate blood sugar level in the body.
Note: melon soup can be cooked in different ingredients and process depending on what they individual want or their culture. We have different methods of preparing melon soup.
This soup can be enjoyed with different swallows like fufu, garri, semolina and wheat while others people eat it with white rice and alot more. Choose your style and enjoy the richness of melon soup.

Pap and moimoi is the best food here in Nigeria especially in the Yoruba land because it's so delicious and the taste is so unique that have everyone will like to consume. Every Saturday morning we normally take this food because it brings togetherness within the family and our stomach would be full all day long.
