Greetings to all members of this prestigious community and to you who is taking time to read my post. You are welcome to my blog. Today, I want to participate in one of the amazing contest called Daily Menu Delicacies.

This is one of the contest that helps us to sit back and examine what we consumed in a day.

Waking up, I was craving for a hot chocolate tea. I sweep, mop and arrange my kitchen, there after,I boil water and satisfied my throat.

As shown in this picture,I ate three slice of bread with Gold penny mayonnaise on top and tea. It is one of my favourite fingers morning food. Easy-to-use with easy digestion.

Breakfast

Since today was day off from work. I use it to arrange the house, weed my environment and Carry out Laundry.

Remember tea and bread is a carbohydrates food.It provide a enough energy which helps me to work enthusiasm.

Before,I could finish everything,it was afternoon already. I took my market bag and left, while my mother in law look after my child. On arrival,I was fortunate to see all item that was on my list, I purchase them based on my budget.

Returning home, we saw a terrible accident that block the roads. It was a long trunk and tricycle. The cement that was insides the truck block the road. Different people volunteer to assist them and the road was crowded. 3O minutes drive turn 2 hours. The most happiest thing was that people were only injury and no lost of life was recorded.

Reaching home,I was soaked by hunger 🤣🤣. I decided to eat the available fruit in the house, it was Yellow monkey Kola.
This is one my child favourite fruit,we call it NDIYAH in our local dialect.
Yellow monkey Kola is nutritional,it has a lot of health to human system.

It contains soluble fiber that helps in proper digestion of other food. It contains vitamin A, B2 and C. It helps in fighting bodily infection due to high contains of antimicrobial properties.

The fruit is available in the market because this is it season. From next month,it will be very scare therefore the price will be very high,so we enjoyed will stock last.

After eating Yellow monkey Kola, I have little strength to share market and road experience with my family members.

My mother-in-law share different experience about accident. We later went to kitchen and prepare dinner.

Our dinner was white Rice and pepper soup. This is very simple to prepare but nutritious.

The first thing, I did was to wash the rice and parboiled it. I seive and add a clean water to the Rice,I cook it till become soft. I set it aside. I wash meat and season it well. I added spice and cook my pepper soup properly. Lastly thing, was scent leave, I served it hot to myself and my family members.

Rice is carbohydrates, meat is protein, other things contains vitamin and mineral. I see this meal as a complete meal in the right proportion. Remember Moderate consumption of rice pepper contribute to balance diet.
