A Healthy Seed Mix and Its Benefits

IMG_7249.jpeg

Just a few days ago, I ordered some seeds from an online shopping website, which I have been consuming regularly for quite some time now. Today, I thought of sharing with you all the benefits of these seeds and also how I consume them. I bought all these seeds in quantities of 100 grams each. First, I mixed them together, then dry-roasted them in a pan and crushed them coarsely. I stored the mixture in a jar, which I now consume by soaking one or two teaspoonfuls in milk overnight and having it in the morning. Over a period of time, I have noticed good improvement in my overall health as well as in my weight management. Today, I am sharing the benefits of these seeds, and I hope you will like my presentation.

Chia seeds are rich in fibre, which makes them excellent for gut health. They help in digestion and prevent constipation. These seeds are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are good for heart health. Chia seeds are a good source of minerals like calcium and iron and also contain some protein. They keep us full for a longer time and thus help in weight management. Diabetic patients can also consume these seeds as they help in controlling blood sugar levels.

Watermelon seeds contain magnesium, which supports muscle and nerve function, along with good amounts of protein and healthy fats. The presence of these nutrients makes them beneficial for heart health and also for male reproductive health.

Sunflower seeds are beneficial for people facing hair loss, as they are rich in vitamin E, which is good not only for hair but also for skin health. They are a good source of minerals like selenium and magnesium, which can be beneficial for the male reproductive system. Sunflower seeds also help in controlling bad cholesterol and thus support heart health.

Pumpkin seeds, which are known to be good for prostate health, are rich in minerals like zinc that boost immunity and support testosterone production. They help improve sleep quality, which in turn supports testosterone production, as this hormone is mainly produced during sleep. Pumpkin seeds are also good for heart health and blood sugar control.

Lastly, I also added flax seeds, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and help in lowering cholesterol levels. These seeds also improve gut health by aiding digestion.

Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
