Every bite of carrot zarda will have milk grains in your mouth and it will be quite delicious to eat. Carrot zarda recipe will rival the taste of carrot halwa. 🫕Cooking Process 🫕
Step 1:
For the carrot zarda recipe, I took 1 kg of carrots. To cook carrot zarda, you need to take fresh carrots, then both the taste and color of the carrot zarda will be very beautiful. First, I peeled the carrots, then washed them in clean water. Now I have to grate them with the help of a grater. To cook carrot zarda, you must grate the carrots using the small holes of the grater. Then the carrot zarda will look very attractive.

Step 2:
To cook the carrot puree, I put a pan on the stove, added 2 tablespoons of ghee to the pan. Then I poured the grated carrots into the ghee. Then I stirred it to mix it with the ghee, then again I spread the ghee on top and stirred it.

Step 3:
For 1 kg of carrots, I added 1 cup of sugar, and a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness. Then I stirred the sugar well and mixed it with the carrots. When the sugar melts, water will come out, and the carrots will be cooked in this water. I left the lid of the pot open and cooked it, stirring, until the water in the carrots dries up.

Step 4:
When the water dries up and the carrots become dry, I add white cardamom powder for flavor. At this stage, I add powdered milk. Powdered milk cannot be added while the carrots are still watery. After the carrot water dries up, add powdered milk and ghee little by little. Mawa is made from a mixture of ghee and powdered milk, which doubles the taste of the carrot puree.

Now I mix everything very well, the carrot puree will be smooth. The mawa made from the mixture of milk and ghee will be granular.

Step 5:
When the carrot zarda is fried and becomes crispy, I add the roasted peanuts at this stage. Then after stirring everything again, the delicious carrot zarda is ready to serve.
