Mama Nkechi restaurant is where I visited today for my Broths and Soups post. This restaurant is located along the Keffi-Abuja road and the Jos road in Akwanga. It is located just by the roadside, closer to a motor park and the local government secretariat.

It is a local restaurant that serves mostly travelers and the people in the area. The restaurant is managed by its owner, who is an elderly woman as seen in the video below.

At the restaurant, there are seats for customers to sit down and enjoy their meals just like the people in the image below were captured enjoying their meals.

Since it is a local restaurant there is water and hand soap for washing hands placed on the table. Food in the restaurant is cheaper compared to that of a classic restaurant. As a customer, you can choose to eat at the restaurant or demand a takeaway home.

The average cost of a plate of food is ₦1,000 which is equivalent to 12 STEEM. Also, cash payment and bank transfer are the two acceptable payment methods in the restaurant.

I wanted to eat vegetable soup, but it was unavailable, so I didn't buy it and ended up eating draw soup which I only enjoyed a bit. I would like to try their vegetable soup especially afang soup with assorted meats.

My favorite soup after a long day is vegetable soup. Any soup that has a vegetable leaf inside it is my favorite. I don't often eat vegetable soup, but after a long day, it's the only soup that I enjoy eating.

✓ Do you accompany your soup with any special ingredient (arepa, bread, lemon, hot sauce)?

No I don't accompany my soup with any special ingredients, I only accompany it with cold water for digestion. But the soup is rich with assorted ingredients and meats.
