As I visited Akwanga market for shopping I came across a seller who was selling healthy sweets and nuts inside the market on a wheelbarrow. This is a street stall seller of healthy sweets and nuts which are locally

From the picture, you can see the date captured in a local market how beautiful it looks and natural. These dates and nuts perfectly represent healthy sweets sold fresh in traditional markets. In this market, there are a lot of people that sells all of these in the market which people prefer buying from them rather than from a supermarket.

The payment method accepted by this seller is mostly cash, and sometimes a transfer for large purchases. The seller prefers cash payment over a transfer for large purchases of dates.


From 1 to 10: How big a fan are you of healthy sweets and nuts?

I would rate myself 9/10 because healthy sweets and nuts are both delicious, yummy, and nutritious to me. I usually enjoy eating dates, groundnuts, cashews, peanuts, dried fruits, and almonds because they provide natural energy and they are healthier than processed snacks.


Your healthy sweets and nuts: Do you prefer them in sealed supermarket bags or bought in bulk by weight at the local market?

I prefer buying in bulk by weight at the local market. The reason is that in a local market, they usually feel fresher, more affordable, and natural than in a sealed supermarket.

Also in a local market, I can choose the exact quantity that I want to buy. By mainly looking at my photo, you can clearly see how attractive and fresh the dates look when displayed openly on a local market. The reason why I buy from the supermarket is because of long-term storage and hygiene.


What's your ideal time to enjoy your nuts and healthy sweets?

I do enjoy but and healthy sweets at any time but if I am to specify according to morning, afternoon, and evening I would say;

  • During morning time I do enjoy nuts and healthy sweets as a quick energy booster for me to start my day.

  • During the afternoon, enjoy eating nuts and sweets as a snack

  • During the evening, I do enjoy nuts and sweets when I am relaxing with a soft chill drink.
