I had already cut all the vegetables and washed them well and kept them by myself. Guys I also cleaned the rice well and kept it by myself. I put the karahi on the stove. Added the onions. At the same time I added ghee. And the ghee heated up. I started frying the onions.
The onions are starting to fry a little now. So I added some garlic paste to it. After adding the garlic paste. Now I mixed the onions and garlic paste well and started frying them.
After a while the color of the onions turned brown. I added a little water to it. After adding the water. I mixed it well and then I added cumin seeds to it. I have always added this spice during this procedure. Because it makes the rice taste so delicious. I mixed them well.
Then I added chopped tomatoes to it and fried them well for one to two minutes. Then I added chopped green chillies to it.
After adding the chopped green chili. I added salt to it and fried all these spices well. After frying the spices. I started adding the vegetables. First I added the potato.
Then I added chopped carrots to it. Then I added peas to it. I mixed all three vegetables well with spices and fried them well for three to four minutes.
After frying the vegetables. I added water as needed. After adding water. I covered it so that the water started to cook. In the meantime I washed the rice and the water that was left started to cook.
I added rice to it. Mixed it well and let it cook.
The rice was well cooked and almost the water was drying up. I checked the salt in it and after that I added more salt. Mixed it well and after some time the water dried up. After that guys I put the rice on a light steamer. In about 10 to 15 minutes. The rice was done. And my delicious and flavorful vegetable rice was ready to eat.
