I am fine. I have made layered biryani today and I have made it in my own style. I hope you will like my recipe today. This is the most different way. Out of all the recipes I have seen this is the most unique and very tasty recipe. In almost all the biryanis I have seen, almost all people prepare the masala by frying the spices etc. and then adding the chicken to it and then boiling the rice and putting it on the stove. So here I have thought of marinating the chicken first because this will make the taste of our biryani even more delicious.
- I put ghee in a karahi. And placed it on the stove and turned on the flame. When the ghee was hot. I added finely sliced onions to it. I had taken about four to five medium sized onions which I am now frying. I fried the onions well on low heat and when they turned brown. I took them out on a plate.
- I washed the chicken thoroughly. And put it in a lovely white bowl. So here I am going to marinate the chicken. To marinate the chicken. I added two tablespoons of chopped green chilies. I added two tablespoons of ginger&garlic paste. I added yogurt to one cup.
- Then I added my spices to it. Which included red chilli powder chilli flakes turmeric and salt. Then I added hot spices to it which include star anise, cloves, cardamom and a piece of cinnamon.
- Then I added some more spices to it. Including roasted cumin powder, dried coriander powder, hot spice powder, black pepper.
- After adding all these spices, I then added two medium sized chopped tomatoes. And chopped coriander leaves. I added the onions that I had browned.
- And along with that, I also added a cup of the leftover onion juice to the chicken for marinating. And after that I added a little food coloring to it and then I mixed all these spices well into the chicken with the help of my hands and I kept it for half an hour to marinate the chicken.
- Then I took water in a pan. And added one more thing, cloves and cardamom and after that I added two spoons of cumin seeds. And according to the test add salt to it and put the water to boil.
- Guys I had washed and soaked the rice well. When the water started boiling. I added the rice to it. The rice was boiled well after a while. Then I took it out into a basket with a few holes and the rice was boiled and ready.
- You can see in the picture. That it had been a long time since I put the chicken in. So I took a pan and added the marinated chicken to it. Since we had already added everything ready. There was no need to add anything else. I covered the chicken and cooked it well on low flame. After about ten minutes of cooking. The chicken was cooked and ready.
- In a small white bowl. I mixed the food coloring in the water. After that I took a plate and started adding the rice. I first added the white boiled rice at the bottom of the pan. Then I added the chicken spices on top of it. Then I added fried brown onions on top of it because I had saved them separately for the tail. Then I applied white rice oil on top of it. In the same way I added chicken spices again. Then I added white rice on top of it and spread the color all over the white rice. After that, I added fried brown onions and and kept the rice for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame.

Guys the delicious and spice filled layered biryani that I made today is ready. It was very tasty 😋 and flavorful. The whole family enjoyed it and praised me a lot. I hope you liked my recipe for today's biryani.
