🔸Shami Kebab🔸

Greetings from me,

You all are very welcome to my today's Steemit Challenge Season 28 Week 01. I hope you all are happy and safe.Today I am sharing Shami Kebab recipe with you.I hope you like it. There is a distinct joy in the diversity of Indian and Pakistani cuisine across the world. There are many such traditional dishes in the kitchen of our subcontinent. Whose name makes the mouth water just by mentioning it. One of these is Shami Kebab. Which is liked by people of all ages due to its soft, juicy and aromatic taste. The specialty of Shami kebab is that it is slightly crispy from outside and very soft from inside. The combination of dal, chicken or mutton, spices and fresh green leaves makes it even more delicious. This recipe is as attractive as it looks. It is equally easy and fun to make. Just need to know the right quantity and method.

Have you ever made Shami Kebab at home before? If so, share your experience. Write in at least 150 words.(2 Marks)

Yes,I have made Shami Kebab at home many times and every time the experience has been special for me.The first time I tried to make Shami Kebab I was a little scared whether I would get the right balance of dal and meat and whether the kebabs would break on the pan. But as I followed the steps the aroma from the kitchen assured me that it was going to taste good. When I started shaping the mixture with my hands it was soft and of perfect texture. When I poured a little oil on the pan and started baking the kebabs my heart felt happy seeing their golden color and slight crispiness on the outside. The best thing was that everyone who ate did not get tired of praising it.He said that the kebabs were absolutely soft and juicy. That day I realized that there is a different joy in making something special with my own hands and feeding it to my family.Since then Shami Kebab has become one of my favorite recipes. And I often make it and enjoy it with my family.

First of all, soak the chana dal in water. Keep it soaked in water. Here I have used mutton to make kebab. Wash the mutton thoroughly with water. When all the water comes out of the mutton. After that take a pressure cooker. Add some oil, chopped onion, mutton, gram dal, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, salt and some water. Now close the cooker and cook till 3 to 4 whistles. The pulses and mincemeat should melt well. Keep in mind that the water should dry completely after cooking. If water remains, open the lid and dry it on medium flame. This step is most important because if there is excess water, the kebabs start breaking.

STEP - 2

Now let the cooker mixture cool completely. Grinding the hot mixture may dilute it. When the mixture cools down. Then put it in the mixer without adding water and add red chili powder, turmeric, salt, garam masala and coriander powder. After that, chop green chillies and add them and make a coarse paste. Be careful in this step that the paste is not completely smooth. The light coarse texture gives the real taste of Shami Kebab.

STEP - 3

Now we have to cut the onion. After that, chop green coriander and mint also. Wash everything thoroughly with water. Now add chopped onion, coriander leaves and mint to the extracted paste in a big vessel. After that add lemon juice also. Then add an egg in it also. Mix everything well with the help of hands so that the entire mixture gets uniform taste. If you feel that the mixture is too soft. Only then an egg has to be added to it. Adding egg will bind it better. However, Shami kebabs are easily made even without eggs.

STEP - 4

Now add shahi kebab masala in it. After that apply oil on your hands. Now make medium sized tikkis from the mixture. Make balls and press them lightly. If you want to prepare them in advance, keep them in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes. This will make them set further and will not break at all while frying.

STEP - 5

IMG_20251118_162500.jpgIMG_20251118_170037 (1).jpg
IMG_20251118_170048 (1).jpgIMG_20251118_211522.jpg
IMG_20251118_212956.jpgIMG_20251118_212731.jpg

Now heat a pan and add 2–3 spoons of oil on it. Fry the tikkis on low flame until they become golden brown on both sides. By cooking on low flame, the kebabs remain crunchy from outside and soft from inside. When they get good color from all sides, take them out in a plate. Now the delicious Shami kebabs are ready. Serve them with hot green chutney, onion and lemon.

Saludos. Me pareció interesante que tú método de preparación es ligeramente diferente, además añadiste limón y "shahi kebab masala". Sin duda cada cocinero tiene sus secretos y una forma en que ha aprendido a hacer estas recetas .

Éxitos
