Located in the middle of the busy market of Badarganj Upazila of Rangpur District, Mamun Sweets is a trusted name for sweet lovers. The first thing that catches one's eye upon entering this small but tidy confectionery shop is the colorful array of fresh sweets, sandesh, rasmalai and curds lined up in glass showcases. The sweet smell of milk and chicks wafts around, which instantly cheers up the mind. The shop is always lively with locals chatting, laughing and shopping.The biggest feature of Mamun Sweets is their daily fresh preparation. The sweets here are made in the morning and have a homely touch to the taste.

The environment of the store is clean and the employees serve the customers very sincerely, which makes the whole experience more pleasant.If I have to recommend one product from this shop, I would definitely say their famous Tok-Mishti Dai (sweet yogurt). The consistency, taste and aroma of Mamun Sweets Yogurt is really amazing. Served in a clay bowl, this curd has a light curd on top and a creamy texture on the inside once you try it, you'll want to eat it again and again. Not too sweet, and not too sour there's a great balance of flavors that appeal to people of all ages. This yogurt is perfect after a meal or for entertaining guests.

Daily-made rasgolla, sandesh, chamcham, kalojam, rasmalai and mud curds all in all, the shop is a storehouse of traditional Bengali sweets. The chatter of local people, big orders during festivals, and packets of sweets for the family all together, Mamun Sweets is not just a shop, but part of Badarganj's passion.

But even with so much variety, sometimes it seems that the attraction of the store would have been increased if there were some new types of products. For example, nowadays the number of health conscious people has increased a lot. Many people look for low-sugar or sugar-free foods. If Mamun Sweets had sugar-free sandesh, sweets made with date molasses, or diabetic-friendly yogurt, then the elderly and health conscious consumers could also enjoy the sweets without worry. This would increase the number of customers of the shop and make it a place for everyone.

From the first time I entered Mamun Sweets, located in the middle of the busy market of Badarganj Upazila of Rangpur district, I felt that this is not just an ordinary sweet shop, but a place trusted and loved by the local people. The small but neat shop, the fresh sweets beautifully displayed in the glass showcase, and the warm smell of chickpeas inside all in all, the atmosphere was very relaxing. The cleanliness inside the shop is noticeable, which gives a good first impression of the quality of the food.In terms of quality, Mamun Sweets really deserves praise. The taste of fresh ingredients is evident in every dessert here.

The rasgolla was soft and juicy, the sandesh was mildly sweet and full of milky aroma, and the curd was thick and creamy melting in the mouth. Best of all, none of the items tasted like added sugar or artificial flavors. Everything had a touch of homely and natural taste, which is very rare these days.In terms of service, my experience is quite positive. The staff were polite, cheerful and patient. When asked about which sweets are good or fresh, they offered hearty advice. The entire process from taking the order to packing it was quick and thorough. This made me feel respected and comfortable as a buyer.
