Homemade Bitter Gourd Chicken Recipe

Peace be upon you friends! Hope you all are well. Today I am sharing with you all my very favorite dish "karela Chicken". I love this recipe so much, especially when my mom makes it with her own hands, it tastes different. To tell you the truth, on that day I eat two or sometimes more rotis instead of one. The combination of the slight bitterness of the bitter gourd and the spicy flavor of the chicken makes this dish very special for me.
The Ingredients Required For This Recipe Is:

First I washed the chicken well. Then put the finely chopped onion in a pot with the chicken. After that I added salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and chopped red chillies. After adding all the spices I mixed them well so that the spices are well coated on each piece. Then put the pan on the stove so that the chicken starts to rot slowly.

After that I added tomato paste and finely chopped green chillies. Then, with the help of a spoon. I mix everything well. So that the spices, onions, tomatoes and chicken are well mixed together. When everything was well combined. I covered the pan. Left it to cook on low flame. So that the chicken becomes tender. The flavors of the spices are well absorbed.

After some time I removed the lid and checked the chicken. By this time, the onion was also well decomposed and the chicken had also started to cook. Then I stirred well with a spoon and let it cook on medium heat so that the water slowly dried up. After a while, the masala started to thicken and the oil started to separate from it, indicating that the masala was roasted well.

When the chicken seasoning was well prepared, I heated a little oil in a separate pan. After the oil is hot, add the chopped bitter gourds and fry them on low flame for a few minutes. I fried the Krills just enough to slightly change their color, as this also reduces their bitterness and makes the taste better.

When the bitter gourds were fried well, I took them out and added them to the prepared chicken seasoning. Then mix slowly with the help of a spoon so that the bitter gourd and spices mix well. After that I let it cook for a while on low heat, so that the bitter gourd also absorbed the flavor of the chicken spices well. After a while the gravy also thickened and the aroma alone could tell that the dish was almost ready.
