I am truly excited to take part in this delightful cooking journey where we explore traditional and street style flavors. This week I prepared delicious “Vegetable Momos”. It is soft, steamed dumplings. It is filled with a flavorful mix of fresh vegetables, loved by food enthusiasts everywhere. May Allah bless everyone with happiness, creativity and success in their culinary adventures.

Classic Chicken Momos with Cheese are one of my favorite snacks. Their soft dough and the juicy chicken and melted cheese filling inside create a fantastic flavor. Each nawala is full of fragrance and flavor that makes the heart happy. Eating hot momos especially with chutney is something else. These are not only delicious but also a great choice to share with friends and family. Whenever I feel like eating something special, I love to make or eat these delicious momos.

The Ingredients Which I Used For This :

| 1 | Cabbage One Cup |
| 2 | Carrot One Cup |
| 3 | Capsicum One Cup |
| 4 | Onion One Medium |
| 5 | Soya Sauce Two Tablespoon |
| 6 | Chilli Sauce Two Tablespoon |
| 7 | Red Chilli Flakes One Teaspoon |
| 8 | Salt One Spoon or As Taste |


To begin with the recipe by preparing the vegetables first. I had already washed them thoroughly and chopped them finely. Then I heated a oil in the pan. I added the vegetables one by one. After that I began sautéing them on a medium flame. So that their flavor and aroma could develop nicely.

I sautéed the vegetables really well. Their aroma was absolutely wonderful. Then I added the spices. I used only red chili flakes and salt. This simple seasoning makes them incredibly flavorful and delicious.


Then after frying the mixture well with the spices. I added soy sauce and chili sauce to it. Both of these enhanced the flavor beautifully. The aroma became even more rich and tempting. It making it truly mouthwatering.

The filling is ready


Then to prepare the dough. I took a nice bowl. Then guys I added all purpose flour (maida) to it. After that I added ghee. Also a pinch of salt. When everything was added. I mixed it well. I kneaded it into a smooth and soft dough guys.

I made a small dough ball. Then rolled it out nicely on the rolling board into a large, thin sheet like a roti. After that with the help of a round bowl. I cut it into perfect circular shapes. This step is really fun. Especially shaping them so neatly.

In this way I continued rolling and shaping the dough. I made around six to seven round pieces.

I start filling each with the vegetable mixture. One by one I added the filling. I shaped them into momos. In this way the momos all ready for steaming.


Then I greased the steamer with some oil. After that I placed the momos carefully in the steamer. Then I let them steam. I kept the momos in the steamer for about ten to fifteen minutes.

After steaming for that time. The momos were fully cooked and ready to serve.
