There is only one employee in this tea shop, who runs this shop himself. Since the shop is not that big, there is no need for any other staff, and since it is a small shop, payment is only made through cash and no other means are accepted. The staff at the shop are also quite good, and I have always liked the tea here.

Since my university is next to Shaheed Minar, I often come to Shaheed Minar. And here I really have to have a cup of milk tea, since I am a tea lover, I always have tea and I have tea from this shop most of the time. The shop is small, the environment is not that good, but still I come here to have tea because the taste of the tea in this shop is good. Not only me, many other people come here to have tea. Especially university students come here to chat with their friends and have tea, and office workers also sit here after their holidays and have tea to feel a little relaxed. Sitting in the open atmosphere of Shaheed Minar and drinking tea feels good and both the mind and body become very fresh.
What is the most emblematic drink in your country, coffee or tea? |
| Tea is a popular drink in our country | |
The most iconic beverage in our country is tea. It is not just a simple drink, but it is a symbol of hospitality, sociability and friendship. Although coffee is also popular, tea is closely associated with the culture and social life of Bangladesh. Serving tea in Bangladesh is an expression of warmth and respect towards guests. Drinking tea is an integral part of friends' chats and social interaction. For many, a day without tea is unthinkable, it is necessary for us at any time of the day, starting from breakfast. On the other hand, the culture of drinking coffee is also gaining popularity in Bangladesh, especially in urban areas. In addition, the practice of drinking coffee along with tea is also increasing day by day among young people. Efforts are being made to cultivate coffee in our country, although it is still at a limited stage. However, historically and from a cultural perspective, the appeal of tea is much stronger than coffee.
Briefly describe your favorite coffee or tea and what time of day you usually enjoy it. |
 | I am a tea lover🫶 |
I have always been a tea lover, tea is my favorite, I enjoy drinking tea very much. I usually enjoy drinking tea more in the morning because I don't think I can get the pleasure of drinking a cup of tea after waking up and feeling refreshed at any other time. Drinking tea refreshes both our body and mind. Apart from the morning, I sometimes drink tea in the evening as well, so drinking tea removes my fatigue throughout the day and also makes my mind feel fresh. As far as I know, most people like tea, because it is not just a drink, it has a refreshing feeling that everyone likes. So for me, tea always comes first.😌🫶
What is the ideal accompaniment (cake, bread, cookies, etc.) to enjoy with that drink? |
| It's Me shabiha | |
I usually just like to drink tea, but sometimes I enjoy tea with cookies. For example, I eat cookies with tea as a light snack during breakfast, which is my favorite. I also like to drink tea with cake or bread, but I enjoy cookies with tea the most. When guests come to my house, I try to entertain them with cookies with tea. In my opinion, cookies are more popular than cake or bread with tea, so whenever I eat something with tea, I prefer cookies.
