Homemade Golden Turmeric Ketchup
I am really happy to take part in Steemit Challenge Season 27 – Week 4. It feels so nice to join such a creative and unique contest. That’s why today I’m excited to participate in this challenge. Many thanks to @afzalqamar for organizing such a wonderful contest.
So, let’s begin I’m going to share my recipe for Homemade Golden Turmeric Ketchup with you all.

| Water | ½ cup |

In the first step, I gathered all the ingredients needed for making Golden Turmeric Ketchup. This helps me stay organized during cooking and saves time from searching for ingredients later.

Next, I washed all the tomatoes properly in clean water. Then, using a clean knife, I cut them into small pieces so they can cook easily.

At this stage, I measured all the spices properly according to the recipe and kept them together in a bowl ready for use.

Now I placed the chopped tomatoes in a pot and turned on the induction cooker. Then I added ½ cup of water and let the tomatoes boil for a while.

I covered the pot with a lid and waited for about 5–7 minutes until the tomatoes became soft and fully boiled. This will make it easier to blend and cook later.

After boiling for a few minutes, I took the pot off the stove and waited until the tomatoes cooled down completely before blending.

Once cooled, I put all the boiled tomatoes into a blender jar and blended them well to make a smooth paste. For ketchup, it’s important that the tomato paste is nice and smooth.

After blending, I strained the tomato paste using a fine strainer to remove all the tomato skin and get a smooth texture. I separated the skin nicely and kept only the smooth pulp for cooking.

Now I set the strained tomato paste aside and again turned on the induction stove at low heat this helps to cook slowly and prevents burning while making ketchup.

Then I placed a pan on the stove and let it heat for a while. I added 3 tablespoons of oil, then added salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and black pepper powder, stirring well for a few minutes.

At this stage, I added the blended tomato mixture into the pan and stirred continuously. After some time, the mixture started thickening that’s when I moved to the next step.

As the cooking reached the final stage, I added sugar and white vinegar. I kept stirring and cooking for a few more minutes until it reached the perfect ketchup texture. This ketchup can be stored for several months if kept properly in an airtight container. After cooking, I poured the Golden Turmeric Ketchup into a clean jar to cool down.
Present your final homemade ketchup to make it look attractive and well-prepared. Also use your name tag and date written on a paper.
