Today I would like to talk about a traditional yogurt drink shop. Usually, we are more familiar with solid yogurt, but yogurt-based drinks are not very common in most places. However, the shop I am describing prepares delicious drinks using sour yogurt.

In Saidpur city, there are several traditional yogurt drink shops. These shops are not located on busy roads or famous places. Instead, they are found in quiet alleys where there is no traffic noise. The shops are quite small but carry a strong traditional value.

The shop I am talking about is known as Islam Doi Ghor. It was established by the late Islam, who started his yogurt business in 1965. So, it is clearly a very old and traditional business.

Since yogurt has been made here for a long time, it is expected that the quality is good. Although I have not personally tried the yogurt drink yet, I believe it is of good quality because of its long history and reputation.

Besides yogurt drinks, this shop also offers borhani, doi bora, and lassi. Lassi and borhani are also very popular and refreshing drinks. I have tried lassi and borhani in different places before, and they are always enjoyable.

Here, borhani is made using sour yogurt. These drinks are quite affordable, yet the quality is good. For example, a glass of borhani costs only 30 BDT, which is very reasonable.
