A few days ago, I visited a restaurant in our small town. Today I want to share my review of this place. Let's begin.

I visited the Sweet Chili Restaurant, located near the Dhaka Mor bus stand area. A well-known landmark close to it is Jnanankur Pilot High School, and the restaurant is just a short walk from there.

Because of its location, it attracts many students and bus passengers as regular customers. I believe the opening and closing hours were set keeping these people in mind.

The restaurant opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM, which is quite convenient for both students and travelers.

Sweet Chili Restaurant offers a wide range of drinks and food items. Their traditional items include tea, coffee, fuchka, and chotpoti, the classics that people always love.

Among drinks, they serve lemon juice, lassi, lemon mint, and various milkshakes. They also offer different types of burgers and fried snacks. I found the package items very budget-friendly, and they are perfect for sharing with friends.

There are many types of drinks available here. I don’t usually try juices much, but I often go for coffee or tea. However, I once tried a glass of chocolate milkshake, it was pretty good. That actually made me a bit more curious to try some of the other drinks on the menu.

I’ve shared all the major menu items above. There were many more options available, but I didn’t include everything. Instead, I chose the items that felt most relevant and useful for my review. That’s why I listed the prices of only these selected dishes.

Although it’s a small restaurant, they offer both cash and online payment methods. I personally paid for my chocolate milkshake using an online payment app, which felt easy and comfortable.

It’s nice to see small restaurants adapting to modern payment options.

✓ Other points that you believe are relevant to mention.

There is a large promotional banner right beside the restaurant, which works really well for grabbing people’s attention. It also includes the home delivery number, which I will add later in the Location & Other Info section.

The restaurant is very clean. Even the washbasin area looked neat and well maintained, with proper cleaning supplies kept nearby.

They also have a lovely photo spot with angel wings so customers can stand between them and take pictures. In the evening, the lights around the wings turn on, making the spot even more beautiful.

One wall is decorated with a neon sign of a burger, fries, and a drink, along with some motivational wall art. I really liked that touch. The restaurant is also monitored by CCTV, so the security is good.

The environment at Sweet Chili Restaurant was wonderful. It’s located in a relatively quiet area, and the inside feels cozy and comfortable. Even though buses and trains pass nearby, the sound doesn’t disturb much inside.

The tables are made of steel and glass, with four plastic chairs at each table. Water bottles, glasses, and tissues are neatly placed for customers.

The restaurant is small but nicely organized. The interior decoration is pleasing, with motivational wall hangings on both sides. I also liked their restaurant logo.

Because of the glass door, you can see the outside even while sitting inside. In the evening, the restaurant looks especially beautiful with all the lights.

✓ What is the most emblematic drink in your country, coffee or tea?

Tea is definitely the most emblematic drink in our country. People drink tea everywhere, in different environments, during casual chats, gatherings, picnics, and tours. Compared to coffee, tea is much cheaper and deeply rooted in our culture.

Every neighborhood has at least one tea stall, and even big restaurants serve tea. Most people prefer tea, which makes it the true iconic drink of our country.

✓ Briefly describe your favorite coffee or tea and what time of day you usually enjoy it?

Before, I used to love milk tea, made with tea leaves, milk, and sugar. But milk tea isn’t very healthy, so for quite some time I’ve switched to red tea.

I like making my red tea with healthy ingredients like, black cumin, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, tulsi leaves, lemon, or orange. I don’t add sugar much. I never add all ingredients at once just two or three depending on my mood.

For example, today I drank red tea made with ginger, tulsi leaves, and black cumin. It’s refreshing and much healthier.

✓ What is the ideal accompaniment (cake, bread, cookies, etc.) to enjoy with that drink?

For me, cookies are the perfect accompaniment. I enjoy slightly salty cookies with tea. They taste even better when dipped into the tea. These cookies are also very affordable, which makes them an ideal choice.
