Piyaju made from lentils
I am a Hindu. But most of the hostels where I live are Muslim. And now the month of Ramadan is going on for Muslims. They prepare various types of food in the afternoon. Like chickpeas, potato paste, egg paste, beguni, piyaju, tikia etc. Today I will share the recipe for making piyaju. To make piyaju, we will need lentil dal, ginger paste, garlic paste, onion, chilli, salt, oil, spices etc. We will first grind the lentil dal in a blender. Then we will mix them with a lot of salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, onion, chilli and spices. Then we will make round balls out of them. Then we will heat oil in a stove. When the oil is hot, we will fry the lentil dal little by little. After frying for five to six minutes, the lentil dal piyaju will be ready.
