#StreetFood Chana Chaat: A Delicious Street Food for Every Season
Assalamu Alaikum, rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
I welcome you all to my Steemit blog. Today's article is about street food. We all know that there are different foods in every country and the taste of every food is excellent, but there are some street foods that are eaten and liked with great enthusiasm in almost every country or region. One such street food is chickpeas, or we also call it chana chaat. It is made from chickpeas. Since chickpeas, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, green chilies and other vegetables are added to make chana chaat. This chana chaat is delicious in taste and spicy. It is eaten with great enthusiasm by young children, adults and people of all ages. In my area, chana chaat is a famous street food that is very much liked by school children. But today when I went to the fair, there was a chana chaat seller standing there. I was also very happy to see chana chaat. My mouth watered because this chana chaat was fresh and freshly made. This chana chaat was also spicy and for those who don't want to eat spicy food, no spicy ingredients were added. You are looking at the chana chaat in the pictures and I can imagine that your mouth must be watering too.
Well, the recipe for chana chaat is very easy, but to make it spicy and delicious, every shopkeeper uses different ingredients. Today I want to tell you what ingredients are included in delicious chana chaat. These are all the ingredients that are easily available in the kitchen of every home and are also stored in the freezer of every home. First of all, white or black chana is boiled well and mashed and when they become soft, then the softened white or black chana is added to the chana chaat. In addition to the chana, aloe is boiled well and mashed well. When they become soft, then the aloe is finely chopped and added to the chana. In addition to the chana and aloe, cucumber is added. The cucumber is cleaned well, washed and also cut into small pieces. But here I want to tell you one thing. Some people eat cucumber in chana chaat and some people do not like it, so the shopkeeper first asks whether cucumber should be added to chana chaat or not, because yogurt is also used in chana chaat, and if cucumber is used along with yogurt, some people get allergic or have diarrhea complaints, so some people use cucumber in chana chaat and some people do not.
Apart from cucumber and gram, the other ingredients used in it include tomatoes, onions and some shopkeepers use green chillies in the examples that some shopkeepers use to make chana chaat. If green chillies are used, then they do not use red chillies or black chillies. If you are using bitter green chillies in chana chaat, then red chillies are also bitter and thus the taste of black pepper is also bitter, so that is why this spicy bitterness increases more. Therefore, for those who want to eat more spicy chillies, these things are added separately. Yogurt is used to make this chana chaat. Yogurt is used in abundance because all these things are mixed with each other by the mother and then these spicy spices are also sprinkled on top like powder. And if you want to eat more spicy food, these spicy examples are added on top in large quantities. I like it more spicy. I like chana chaat, so I ate the extra spicy chana chaat.
You can see in the pictures that the deliciously flavoured chana chaat is being served in big pots and people are eating it with great enthusiasm and I am sure that your mouth must be watering when you are looking at these pictures. If your mouth is watering then you must tell me in the comments.
In my family, my eldest daughter likes chana chaat the most. My eldest daughter eats chana chaat with great enthusiasm. Apart from that, my daughter also likes my wife. Let's say that my entire family likes chana chaat very much. But some children eat spicy food and some eat less spicy food. Now, my wife does not like chana chaat that is too spicy, while my mother likes chana chaat mixed with yogurt. In this way, each person has their own standards and their own test. They can eat it however they want and like it.
This was the beautiful story of Chana Chaat, which is the most loved food in my village. Apart from the famous street food like Samosa, Pakoda and Sugarcane Bells, which I told you about yesterday, Chana Chaat is also one of the street food that is loved in my village and people of all ages eat it with great enthusiasm.
Whatever the season, street food shops also change in every season. If it is summer season, chana chaat is eaten a lot and even if it is winter season, chana chaat is eaten a lot. Chana chaat is a street food that is not related to the season, but rather it is related to the preferences of people. People like to eat it in every season because it contains ingredients that everyone is ready to eat in every season and at every time. Because we see that there are some street foods that change again with the change of season. For example, summer street food has become melon and its juice. Apart from that, sugarcane juice has become. Apart from that, there are many other street foods that I will mention with you later and tell you about them. But there are also some specific street foods of winter and summer that are planted and sold in the same season, but this chana chaat is a street food that is eaten and sold in every season. That is why this street food is the most famous and the most liked. So you also have to tell me in the comments that in your area or country, not according to the season, but such a street food that is sold the most in every season and is eaten by people of all ages. You have to tell its name. Just like in my area, in my village, samosas, pakodas and this chana chaat are available in every season. So this was a beautiful story of chana chaat that I have told you and I have written on my Steemit blog. I hope you will definitely like this story of street food. If you liked it, then you must tell me in the comments. Thank you all very much for reading and liking my article on street food today because if you liked it, then it is my victory.
