@jakeimnotshure I had a paddler from Chicago say the same thing to me when I was writing a feature for The Standard about the Jacks Fork a few years ago.

It blew my mind to see first-hand how many people travel from great distances to spend time on this amazing river. God's Country, indeed.
Yeah its crazy!! Buttt i totally understand it... there arent many other places in the world where you can see the bottom of a 30 ft hole under a bluff!!
