The Diary Game | 5-october-2021 | Tuesday |Grocery Shopping and much more.
Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is having an amazing day so far. This would be my first ever Diary post here on STEEMIT
To begin, my day started off pretty late, which is kinda different, but the reason behind was that I had no classes today. I felt pretty lazy to cook myself something, so I simply had two slices of toast bread with jam and butter, and I skipped the cup of Chai as well. This might come off as almost rude to my fellow Pakistanis but I kinda hate Chai, and would prefer Coffee over it.
After this simple breakfast, I got ready for some grocery shopping for the month, as I had been delaying it all because I was really caught up with my assignments (and other university shenanigans) and also because the weather was a bit unpredictable. It would be pleasant for half of the day, but almost mid-day the weather would drastically change to downpour. And one thing to know about the roads here in Karachi, they cannot handle rain at all. The traffic and commuting all becomes a headache.
But lucky for us today the weather was pleasant and the sky was a sight to look at. The sky here in Karachi is pretty cloud-less most of the summers, so for me who is a sucker for clicking clouds, it was a blessing.
Although I enjoy grocery shopping quite a lot but it sure gets tiring ( plus the whole walking around the store got me thirsty), so I got myself a drink.
After returning from the shopping trip, i got busy again as the stuff we brought needed to be kept away into its place as well, that finally took every ounce of energy left in me. It really is a blessing to be an older sibling as I get to order around my younger siblings (although it is not as easy as it seems, but I do manage it somehow). So I had my younger sister cook ramen for us that I had just brought, as I was so damn hungry.
Along with eating ramen, me and my sisters watched a Korean Movie ( named ' Midnight Runners'). Its an action-comedy film starring Park Seo-Joon and Kang Ha-Neul. I enjoyed it quite a lot.
The rest of the day went quite smoothly with nothing out of the ordinary. The lunch itself was pretty late at around 3 to 4 pm, all because of it I was not hungry at all for the dinner. At first I planned on skipping the dinner altogether but my mother was not having it, so she had me eat a bowl of oats (an unusual fact about myself, I really like oats). Finally the day ended with me sleeping in early at around 10 pm.
