RE: LetsTalk—How My Steemit and Crypto based Financial Contingency Plan Prevented Bankruptcy!

in #steemit7 years ago

All your articles are great and the fact that you share about your life in such honest detail is commendable.
I had a few questions:

  1. Since crypto is not legalized in India. How exactly can we benefit from SD ?
  2. Is it possible to use Steem and SD to invest in other cryptos ?
  3. Out of curiosity, what do you do for a living , do you work with Steemit full time?
  4. Since you are one of the leading steemians from India. Is it possible to do some version of SteemFest here ?

PS: I am only about 1 week old on steemit.

Thank you so much for your comment! I'll answer your questions now:

  1. SD/Steem you can sell for bitcoin and withdraw. Or with bitcoins you can buy other altcoins.
  2. Yes. Absolutely. Use Polo or bittrex or any other exchange that supports Steem/BTC and sell steem to buy anything else. You can use, Unocoin, Zebpay, Coinsecure or flitpay to get INR for BTC.
  3. Today, I participate full time on Steemit and run Steemit.Chat. I ran a content development firm and a motorcycle guided tours company prior to my work today. I'm not employed by Steemit, although I wouldn't mind if they were interested!
  4. I'm working towards starting Meetups/Accelerators for Steemit in India. In 2-4 years perhaps we could have a real regional SteemFest. But let's see how the journey is to get there!

This is my 11th month on Steemit! :)

Thanks for answering all my questions man ! lot of information to process now.

Wishing you a speedy recovery !!

Thank you so much! Feel free to ask any questions about Steemit if you have. :)
