Just keep at it is my only suggestion. Try to do a lot of commenting in the posts by others who are the target audience for you. When people see you consistently on their articles, they cant help but to check you out. It could take a few weeks or months, yet it will pay off.
Over time, by commenting a lot, you gain reputation and some steem power. This makes you a more valuable member to those you are trying to reach. It sounds selfish in that regard but it always comes down to what are you bringing to the table. Naturally, not everyone is like that but most are. Do not try to fight it and just keep posting away. It is the only way I know how to get things to move forward.
