I think it depends on who and what you are. Art is self indulgent, or else it is not art it is pandering. I write about what is on my mind or what I find interesting at the moment.
It is self indulgent, didn't mean to offend anyone. Art for me has a deep meaning, but don't know how to express it yet.
Not offending me at all, I create for me and for those who care about me. I think you are making good points, we have to be true to ourselves first.
