Hometown Art, Pride, Love - Three things worth posting for
There are three reasons why I wanted to share this photo
1) It’s of my daughter
2) An excellent piece of art on display for free (thanks JPS)
3) It was taken outside a gay club on a Saturday morning. There were red feathers all over the road. She was naturally curious, picked one up and just lent against the wall. In my mind they were shed by someone having a really great time. Just goes to show that being positive and free can echo in the world.
Graffiti and street art is a thing where I live. Bristol in the UK is the original home and canvas of the now well know artist Banksy, and every year hosts Europe’s largest street art and graffiti festival ‘Upfest’. Below are a few images I took that brightened up a grey wet day after last week’s festival.
Steem on!
