QUICK BUCK STEEMIT EYES. NEW MEMBERS BECOME DISILLUSIONED
Hello everyone
Social media platform that rewards you in money. Yes it has a different angle to all the others. New members arrive here with thoughts of making a quick buck. A get rich quick scheme. This will fix what is wrong with their life and open up doors to new adventures of lavish lifestyles and travel. Big mistake.
That is what they think anyway and it all comes tumbling down within the first week when they realize they have to put time and effort in. No it is not a get rich quick scheme. It is a long term life changing platform if you do it correctly. There was one new comer who mentioned the other day he was going to get a little bit of money from the platform and put bots on it . Then he would sit back and make money. Where do these ideas come from? They see the trending page of not such great content and think they can do the same. I give them 3 months and they will be gone.
We all know that this place works if you engage in the community. Those that don't are going to be doomed if not now but in the near future. These new members and some of the older ones who haven't engaged with the community become disillusioned and don't understand. Steemit is community based. Clue number one. They are thinking of themselves and only themselves. If you arrive on this platform with money eyes then you are doomed from day one. Like a business your account takes time. There are very few businesses that make profit in the first 6 months. Yes you can shortcut the growth period by investing in your account and powering up but that is for the few.
Realistically I have in my head that 6 months to a year of serious dedication and growth and then you are through the woods. These time lines may change depending on Steems price. The more it goes up the harder it is going to get. More users will arrive cutting the rewards fund down even more, making it harder to reap the benefits. The young generation of today is a want it now generation and has a lot to learn. Commitment and patience oh and hard work is missing from most of their vocabulary.
