Steemit is more like the first killer app for Bitshares since its creators, early adopters, and most heavily vested members today are from that community; not to mention that the tech is the same Graphene infrastructure used in Bitshares and the STEEM token trades on the Bitshares DEX.

But I guess we're all grandchildren of Satoshi anyway...
