🚢 OUTPERFORMING the steemian 🚂 who invited you to steemit in the FIRST WEEK 🌋! With @secter and the deflation of 💡 Minds.com's "points"

Last Sunday 🌞 I was able to thank @secter who invited me to steemit, at the ecstatic dance, which is held weekly at Kalani on Hawai'i Island🏝 during the day. After reporting about my steemy experience and my garnished steem power, he revealed to me that I had outdone what he had earned in one month, after I joined a week ago!

I'm really grateful he pushed me over the edge to finally get me to download the mycelium mobile app. I've attended introductory seminars on bitcoin but it all felt too complex for me to set up an account and there was @secter, in person one week ago, with his gift of 25¢ worth of bitcoin, catapulting me in to a new realm of inspiration and entrepreneurialism.

I didn't think I would earn more than 250 dollars in one week taking into account that I earn 400 dollars a month working at an eco village doing woodworking, construction, photography, social media and event production, with the latter earning me more money on top of my stipend, when I put extra effort into reaching out into the the community of Puna, the poorest district of Hawai'i Island. Thank goodness I don't have to pay rent living here, work trading for Lolia Place home of the Hawai'i Tantra Festival!

I've been an early adopter of Google Plus (G+) and with my curation of "A Video A Day To Blow Your Mind Away" I was able to grab the attention of Guy Kawasaki which lead him to sharing one of my posts leading to me instantaneously amassing more than 10'000 followers. Today when I post on G+ nothing happens, no up votes, no comments, no shares and I've lost followers from not being active. It was really exciting being on a new platform full of amazing bloggers, photographers, entrepreneurs and many more! Now you are all here steeming away rekindling my fire🔥!

I believe I first heard of steemit either on Medium.com or on Minds.com. It looked too complex the first time I had gotten "steem" of it. So again I thank @secter for making me look up his profile explaining how he was earning money here. I've pretty much given up on Minds, like G+ and Medium. I've witnessed the "points currency" deflate on Minds. I recently shared my "Rise of the Vegan Fetish Ambassador YouTube video and boosted it with one thousand points leading to over 2000 views on minds.com but in reality two people actually clicked play and watched the video on YouTube.

If I could give any advice to @secter I would have him check out @randowhale and the farmers market challenge which both really helped me out getting my foot in the "steem".
