Kwasu SU as a case study

Until when do we gain Freedom, have a Voice For the masses, have a leader with no God Father, a leader that was raise from nothing to something and a leader that will be free from indirect rule. This has been the major causes of incompetency of our leaders and make the followers suffer.
The race for unionism started a year back with joy and smile on every students face that we shall have a voice for the voiceless,hope for the hopeless but to our greatest surprise it was ironical.
However, the journey to elect new leaders started 28th February,2018. With all hopes that the system shall be reform in fear to contest an aspirant whose:

HOD is the Dean of student affairs

Acclaimed Dad is also the Dean of student affair

And also an Incubent executive without resignation

As God will have it, a courageous contestant rise up from no where and got them all shaken because of the fear of him been the voice for the voiceless.

The powerful deanery candidate has been found to violate electioneering rules on series of occasions:

4th of April, projected power point pictures aside stipulated time for election campaign (4pm to 7pm)

8th of April,the PowerPoint deanery candidate violated the same electioneering rule and campaign till exactly 7:05pm. This an isec official got and recorded for quarrying which got all the team members of the candidate angry then attack the isec official.

To our great kwasuite, power of candidacy has been excersice to suspend the official that has took his time to observe the campaign movement. It was also surprising to heard that the deanery held a meeting with his proclaimed son (candidate) and some 'SU' executive council at about 1:15pm today 10th of April for about 45min and to our greatest surprise, at about 6hrs after (6:23pm) election was pronounce to be suspended. It only baffles me to see things goes wrong but only for us to realise that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
