Somewhere on the face of the earth
Roses are cut, wars are fought
Gold is mined, banks are robbed
Somewhere in the wide wild world
The grip and grit of a mans' teeth carves almonds out of diamonds
A push, a shove moves mountains
Somewhere in the lines of the universe
Armors are worn, kevlars are strapped
Daggers and swords drawn, bullets made


For;
When a man loves, the echoes of war booms!
He is as a lion whose tail caught fire
He roars, he runs, his prance is a dance
He loses his peace and for it, his world turns a battlefield


When a man loves, death hovers and looms
He is as him known, bereft of sanity yet drowned in wine
He'd ride a crocodile to steal a sharks tooth
He'd build ladders to fetch a star and a piece of the moon
He'd wager with death to bring his dame the fleece of an angel


When a man loves, a god is come
He is as a genie let out of an ancient lamp
He'd make wishes live and fantasies real
He'd make mountains skip and desserts stream
He'd slay giants and fight demons


When a man loves, a poet is born
He is as deep and just as high
He'll send ravens and float bottles
He'll script sonnets and ballads with an eagle's quill
