Why Buying A Mac Is a Colossal Waste of Money

So the newest Intel processor is the Skylake released in 2015; this is about the sixth generation of i3-i5-i7 cores.

I bet all you Apple lovers are running to the store to get your new mac books with the power of Intel's newest digs……Well you’re going to be very sad when you find out that Apple doesn’t sell a mac with a Skylake. These days the best you can do is a Broadwell (2014) CPU. You’ll be paying $1,200 for a machine with the same performance as a $475 windows PC.

So you tell me my mac is great; it boots up so fast and doesn’t get viruses…. Wrong.

Your mac can and will get viruses and malware without you even knowing. I work at a place with about 30 macs, we run Avast antivirus scans on them every summer…. Guess what we find? No eye balls with iris!!! Just virus!!!

Now your mac has a solid state hard drive- this is the reason why it boots so fast… This type of hard drive is not mac exclusive. Any PC can have the same thing. So what you get for $475 with a PC will have you much more well off than a mac and you’ll save 500+ Dollarunes.

What I did was I found an Acer Aspire with an i5 Skylake 6200u refurbished. It cost about $379.

I ordered 16 GBs of low cas latency RAM and a 240GB SSD.

It's total cost was $475.

My computer boots in less than 6 secs to the windows screen; It’s blazing fast with that much RAM.
In conclusion,
Drop your mac out a window and opt for a pc with upgraded RAM and an SSD with a Skylake or better. I say that because Intels about to drop another new intel.
