FORMATION OF STEEMIT UEW-K by GHSF

Today I joined @steem4depoor as a member of the GHANA STEEM FOUNDATION on a sensitization mission and formation of a steemit group for the UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION (UEW-K), Kumasi campus. we first went round the campus trying to convince the students to spare us about half an hour. its really not an easy task getting people to assemble but at end of the day it was a success. they were given an overview of what steemit is all about and we got all of them very much interested. @steem4depoor will be registering them using steeminvite . we were able to answer every question posed and also turn them into steemit ambassadors. per my observations, our next meet up is really going to be massive. I realized the initial reaction from the group was exactly the same I had. it sounds so disbelieving to be told that a virtual world can have a positive physical impact on people. people are skeptical, but I strongly believe the steem is going to be a burning flame for eternity.

To make steemit more practical and attractive, we decided to refresh our new members to the community with some snacks. we realized how happy they were with spending their time with us. @steem4depoor, as a parting gift, gave out 1 dollar worth of data. I realized this curbed all doubts about the practicality of steemit for transforming lives. the next task is to guide them through this wonderful experience till they become independent as I have become. now writing my own post.
