RE: Facebook Just Helped Steemit With New Rule

in #steemit6 years ago

Facebook banning crypto ads is a good thing because most of the people on there have no idea about what it is and how not to get suckered. But, Facebook doing something like that is also very hypocritical, as they manipulate people everyday for so many reasons. That's why I hate that platform and love this one. :)

I like your thoughts! I agree 100%. I'm betting they are working on their own crypto reward system.

I didn't even think of that. But it wouldn't be surprising. I think Facebook is trying to turn into a Google of their own. It's not good for one company to have that kind of power, but I guess that's what happens with capitalism...

Capitalism would work better if government didn't make secret agreements with businesses like google and facebook to allow spying and data collection. Facebook and google are in a lot of non-capitalist countries too. I do think they want a currency of their own where users can tip from other countries on content they like. Kind of like the Reddcoin idea

Probably. Wherever they can cash in and make sure everyone is 'safe.' Sucks when you can't trust the people who are in control and are supposed to have your best interests at heart... sigh

ain't that the truth. That's why I like the decentralized network. lol

Amen to that. So curious and excited where blockchain takes us, and this platform :)
