If you have not heard Steem is under attack. Late in the night dark forces took over the top 20 witnesses. But we will not go out without a fight!!!!! The community is speaking louder than ever with witness votes re gaining the original top 7 spots. The fight is not over yet!!!

Exchanges are in a pickle!!!

You see when you leave you crypto in a wallet that you don't have control of the private keys they are not ever 100 percent safe. I am not here to say that all exchanges are shady just reminding you that no keys mean not your coins. Well three exchanges decided to powerup all users funds and proxy their witness vote to account dev365. An account we are all sure is controlled by Justin.

Two of the exchanges have withdrawn their votes and put out apologies to the Steem community. The last exchange Poloniex is still voting. Poloniex is also owned by Justin and his team so I am sure it's safe to say that account will continue have their vote proxied.

Here is the pickle they are in. Tron didn't expect the community to vote in previous witnesses and thought they could push a hard fork in time. A hard fork that would allow the exchanges to powerdown the funds they powered up. Well now that will not be happening and users funds will take at least 3 months to power down. So for now if everyone wanted to pull out their Steem from Binance and Houbi the exchanges would run out of Steem. I have no Steem on any of those exchanges so I don't know if wallets are disabled yet so we shall see.

What can I do to Help?

-First of all you can vote for witnesses here that are not running version 22.5. You can find that information https://steemd.com/witnesses.

-If you don't have time to lookup or even if you don't care about the politics but still want to help you can just add me as your proxy. I am currently voting for the previous 30 Top witnesses. To set me as proxy simply click here scroll down to the bottom and type in my username @mrviquez where it says proxy.

-If you are already voting and are a regular poster maybe powering up your posts and any liquid Steem you can spare. Every Steem counts!!!!

I have been part of the community for almost 3 years and really want the best for this platform. I know that together we can regain #REAL consensus on the platform we call home!!!! We are all ready defending the gates very well and I am proud off all the people that have been voting in the past 24 hours. More than 30k witness votes have been cast showing the world the true meaning of Community. Together we can combat any financial giant!!!!!!!
