The building is also a traditional house is indeed not the work of famous architects of the modern era that mastered various kinds of theories and ideas. However, it is the result of the creation of a group of Tana Toraja people in South Sulawesi. Tongkonan has unique characteristics that is made from wooden, bamboo-roofed layered with a layer of black fibers and there are curved-shaped parts like a boat face down.
In addition, the walls of the house that comes from wood, is also decorated with various carvings typical Toraja. Another most noticeable feature of the Tongkonan is the buffalo head along with its beautifully coiled horns and arranged on a main gate at the front door of the house. Therefore, Tongkonan become one of Tator tourist attraction that is not less cool and attracted many visitors.
That's a few reviews list of historical buildings that are not less cool to visit in Indonesia. If our country alone is rich in historical places, why expensive to go abroad. Do you agree?
